REI welcomes AEMO's updated ISP assumptions

The updated ISP assumptions recently released by the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) are a welcome change in the right direction.

By incorporating a detailed 1.5 degree sensitivity to its Step Change scenario (Rapid decarbonisation), AEMO will support the necessary conversations on how the grid can support Australia in meeting its Paris commitment.

A detailed set of 1.5C-aligned ISP results will provide much-needed evidence and analysis to feed the debate.
